About The Author
Jessica Sims lives in Texas. She hates writing a bio, so something cool will undoubtedly go here later when she actually thinks of something interesting to write. She has some cats, but what writer doesn’t? She plays video games and confesses to reading comic books. And she likes writing, but that one was pretty obvious.

Ha ha it’s true practically every writer that I love has at least one cat or a small dog – that thinks it is a cat…. (my puppy can be mistaken for a really big drowned rat when it is wet – no offense to rats intended)
When did you start writing????
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask but I’ve learned that in life you always have no and can always try for a yes….
Best of wishes on the realse of Beauty Dates the Beast I am counting down with you till the time that I will be able to read the book for myself!!!! – I got a real kick out of the wanted add that describes Beauty Dates the Beast, that was priceless:)
Hi Taya! Thank you!
Let me see. I started writing back when I was thirteen, but that was mostly fanfic. I think I started writing my first ‘real’ novel in 2002 and I didn’t finish one officially until 2004. I think I’ve written something like 15 or so since then.
Just got done reading Beauty Dates the Beast. Absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down. Got it today and just finished. Can not wait for Sara’s story! Great book, great characters!
Selenan, thank you!! I’m so thrilled you liked it!
Sara’s story is about this time next year, I think! No official date yet.
I was introduced to your book by Ilona Andrews “newsletter”. So with my trusty Kindle I went and clicked on “Buy”. A couple of hours later and I am a happy camper and can’t wait for the other sister’s turn. I will now snoop around and see what other fun things you have written. Thanks!
C-chan, thank you! The other sister’s up next year, along with a novella! I don’t know if you’ll find much on this website but check out my Jill Myles one for some free reads and other stuff.
Ah, I bought Beauty Dates the Beast at 3pm and I’m halfway through it and it hasn’t even been 6hrs yet. I love your writing, it’s refreshing and keeps me turning the pages to see what happens next. I haven’t read you Succubi series (yet) but you have a new fan from Dallas.
Texans rule.
I loved Beuty Dates the Beast! I was a little late on the jump and didn’t read it untill this year. Now that i’ve read it i’m glad I didn’t read it earlier I don’t know if I could have waited a whole year for Shara’s story. Looking forward to the next book!
